Andrew Rimas is the co-author, with Evan D.G. Fraser, of Beef: How Milk, Meat, and Muscle Made the Modern World, to be published by William Morrow on September 30, 2008. He is the Managing Editor at The Improper Bostonian and was a staff writer and Associate Editor at Boston Magazine. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Boston Globe and Fodor’s Boston guidebooks. A graduate of Williams College, Rimas grew up in Canada, Europe and South America, and has spent several years in Spain. He lives in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston with his wife and daughter.
